These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of this website and any freelance services provided by Adeel Ahmed ("I", "me", "my"), an independent professional operating since 2002. By accessing this website or engaging my services, you agree to these Terms.
1. Services
I provide freelance services including, but not limited to, web development, Artificial Intelligence solutions and chatbots, cyber security, and search engine optimization (SEO). The exact scope, deliverables, timeline and fees for any engagement are agreed in writing (by email or a signed proposal) before work begins.
2. Quotes, Fees & Payment
- Quotes are based on the information provided at the time and remain valid for 30 days unless stated otherwise.
- Hourly rates and package prices are published on the Pricing page and may be revised for new engagements.
- For larger projects, an upfront deposit (typically 40–50%) may be required before work starts, with the balance due on delivery or per agreed milestones.
- Invoices are payable within 7 days. Late payments may pause active work and incur reasonable delay charges.
3. Project Scope & Revisions
Each engagement includes a reasonable, agreed number of revisions. Requests that fall outside the originally agreed scope ("scope creep") may be quoted separately as additional work. Clear, timely feedback helps keep projects on schedule.
4. Client Responsibilities
You agree to provide accurate information, required content, credentials and timely approvals. You confirm that any materials you supply (text, images, logos, data) do not infringe the rights of any third party, and you grant me the licence needed to use them for the project.
5. Intellectual Property & Ownership
Upon full and final payment, ownership of the final, custom deliverables transfers to you. I retain the right to reuse general skills, know-how, non-proprietary components and frameworks, and to display completed work in my portfolio unless a confidentiality agreement states otherwise. Third-party assets remain subject to their own licences.
6. Confidentiality
Any confidential information you share is treated with strict confidentiality and used only for the purpose of delivering the agreed services. I am happy to sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) when required.
7. Warranties & Disclaimer
Services are delivered with professional care and skill. However, they are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. I do not guarantee specific business outcomes, search rankings, traffic figures, or uninterrupted, error-free operation.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, my total liability arising from any engagement is limited to the amount you paid for the specific services in question. I am not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses, including loss of profit, data or business.
9. Termination
Either party may end an engagement in writing. If you cancel, you remain responsible for payment for all work completed up to the cancellation date. Deposits covering work already performed are non-refundable.
10. Third-Party Services
Projects may rely on third-party platforms, APIs, hosting or AI providers. Their availability, pricing and terms are outside my control, and I am not responsible for changes or outages caused by them.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, and any disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Rawalpindi/Islamabad.
12. Changes to These Terms
I may update these Terms from time to time. The latest version will always be posted on this page with a revised "Last updated" date.
